about
This is a just a one verse intro remix of Santigold's new song Disparate Youth. I heard this track this past weekend, as the stress of finishing the tape after a 2 week self imposed time frame was gaining on me. But once I heard this, I knew I had to push and squeeze this one in. This track is too cray cray, for yo babaaay!!! When I was messing with it, and cutting it up to lengthen the intro, I accidentally placed the beginning melody over another part of the intro, and it created that dope double time sounding effect from the :37-:50. It also pushed me to try and keep up with it. I hope I did it justice.
lyrics
Santigold, I haaaaaaad to
cause I loooooooove you.
You talk soooome reeeealness
contrary to popular belief
how hot would a opera be
complete w/ a bounty of trees
and a couple of
swishers they're offering me
could be nirvana to thee
yet whats important to me
to be acting
and thinking on the brink
of a scholar you see
freein up them positive vibe
the ones that karma release
a one man revolution
movin
an armada of me
way passed cool
lemme bring that heat
indoor rockin that parka steez
food for your soul
call it collard green
and if you cant see it
lemme paint the scene
we disparate youth
but we disengaged
and they put through hoops
so it dissaray
so the dismay
leads to disdain
misunderstood
so its disgrace
but in this day
we be leaping for the zenith
seeking this
seamstress
who leaves us speechless
all in agreeance
all in allegiance
she the one to speak
santigold reach em!
